Since 1920, Gull Lake Camp has offered camping and retreats for people of all ages from across Alberta. Lives have been changed, the Kingdom has grown and leaders have emerged from as little as a weekend retreat to as much as a few years of full time service. God is at work here; an unmistakable mystery overwhelms people as they travel off the highway, down the treed lane to set foot on the property: hearts open, the potential for change is sensed and people come to life.

This is a season unlike any other, where hope hangs thick in the air, momentum has grown to a boil, leadership is strong, vision is fresh and facilities no longer serve as an excuse. We have finished two-thirds of our campus redevelopment, including an expansion to our Retreat Centre and a triple-fold increase of our Main Lodge. This total project is going to cost $5 million; to date we’ve spent $4 million and raised just over $1.3 million. Since operational finances will never be able to service this kind of debt nor help us realize the third phase of our transformation, we are left in a precarious position. But with God, nothing is impossible!

God has moved mightily and a few donors have come forward who will match all pledges to a total of $1.5 million! If we work together to give what we can, this $1.5 million will have a ripple effect of immediately becoming $3 million. This will set us on  strong financial footing and allow us to tackle the entire project.
